Job Description
Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special or catered events.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare and cook a variety of hot and cold food items.
+ Use all kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
+ Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
+ Follow instructions and recipes accurately.
+ Assist in cooking, prepping, and presenting dishes.
+ Perform tasks such as mixing, chopping, grilling, slicing, steaming, and cold prep.
+ Participate in inventory control and station cleanliness.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in food preparation and cooking.
+ Proficiency in using kitchen equipment.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Capability to follow instructions and recipes.
+ Skills in cooking fish, chicken, and meat.
+ Proficiency in cold and hot food preparation.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to use knives safely and effectively.
+ Experience in inventory control.
+ Experience in washing dishes and maintaining a clean work station.

Work Environment
Must be able to work from 2 pm to 10:30 pm, and on weekends from 7 am to 4 pm. Days off will be Thursday and Friday, or Friday and Saturday, depending on the needs of the cafeteria.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $16.25 - $17.10/hr.
