Description
\n\t\t\t\t\tThe primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. Performs other duties as directed by representatives of the community. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community’s administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

\n\t\t\t\t\tAdditional Skills & Qualifications
\n\t\t\t\t\tHigh school graduate or equivalent is required.\nMust possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation. Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.\nMust be able to communicate in English and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.\nMust possess and demonstrate the ability to carry out both verbal and written directions.\nMust possess and demonstrate good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to work with supervisors, co-workers and community staff in the performance of duties.\nAbility to observe proper safety and sanitary techniques.\nAbility to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position/assignment.\nMust not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
