**Aerotek is hiring a Conveyor Technician** **Responsibilities** + Maintain and repair material handling systems, including gears, chains, pulleys, belts, electric gear motors, rollers, and controls. + Maintain and repair sorter systems, including laser scanners, computers, and electronics. + Understand system flow to start, stop, and un-jam machinery. + Troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, dismantle, lubricate, and overhaul machinery and equipment. + Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and parts while observing safety procedures and meeting electrical codes. + Make decisions based on technical documents and perform quality testing and inspections. + Crawl, climb, and stand for extended periods during maintenance tasks. + Work with personalization department equipment such as engravers, sewing machines, and other personalization tools. **Essential Skills** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + At least 2 years of technical hands-on experience. + Working knowledge of conveyor systems with the ability to troubleshoot and repair all components. + Forklift certification and working knowledge of battery changing/watering requirements. + Mechanical aptitude for basic repairs throughout the facility. + Ability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs. + Comfortable working at heights with enclosed catwalks and sortation equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with troubleshooting, maintenance repair, and blueprint reading. + Proficiency with hand and power tools, motors, hydraulics, and electrical troubleshooting. + Experience in mechanical maintenance and preventative maintenance. + Experience with sewing machine repair, embroidery, and engraving. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, along with a 401K plan. Technicians will work at heights between 5 ft and 30 ft using harnesses, railings, platforms, and enclosed areas, as well as scissor lifts and boom lifts. The production side is temperature-controlled, while the warehouse/stock area is not, requiring flexibility in work locations. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olive Branch, MS. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.
