**Job Title: Conveyor Technician**
Job Description
The Conveyor Technician position, located in Olive Branch, MS, is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex mechanical and electrical issues within conveyor systems and other warehouse machinery. This role includes the daily maintenance of conveyor systems, MHE batteries, and battery stations, as well as support for general housekeeping, facility maintenance, and preventive maintenance of various warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities
+ Maintain and repair material handling systems as needed, including gears, chains, pulleys, belts, electric gear motors, rollers, and controls.
+ Maintain and repair sorter systems, including laser scanners, computers, and electronics.
+ Understand system flow, start, stop, and un-jam equipment.
+ Troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, dismantle, lubricate, and overhaul machinery and equipment.
+ Check zones, belt tracking, and photo eyes.
+ Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and parts.
+ Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes.
+ Make decisions based on technical documents.
+ Perform quality testing and inspections.
Essential Skills
+ Troubleshooting skills in conveyor maintenance and mechanical systems.
+ Experience with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
+ Ability to use hand and power tools.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents.
+ Capability to perform physical tasks such as crawling, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ At least 2 years of technical hands-on related experience.
+ Working knowledge of conveyor systems, capable of troubleshooting and repairing all components.
+ Forklift certification with knowledge of battery changing/watering requirements.
+ Mechanical aptitude for basic repairs throughout the facility.

Work Environment
The job requires comfort with heights, as tasks may be performed between 5 ft and 30 ft above the ground. The facility provides harnesses, railings, platforms, and enclosed areas for safety. Utilize scissor lifts and boom lifts for certain maintenance tasks. The primary work area is temperature-controlled, while the warehouse/stock area is not.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olive Branch, Mississippi.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.48 - $28.85/hr.
