**Aerotek is hiring Conveyor Technician** **Responsibilities** + Maintain and repair material handling systems, including gears, chains, pulleys, belts, electric gear motors, rollers, and controls. + Maintain and repair sorter systems, including laser scanners, computers, and electronics. + Understand system flow, start, stop, and un-jam systems. + Troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, dismantle, lubricate, and overhaul machinery and equipment. + Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and parts. + Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes. + Make decisions based on technical documents. + Perform quality testing and inspections. + Operate within the Personalization department, dealing with engraver equipment, sewing machines, and personalization tools. **Essential Skills** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + At least 2 years of technical hands-on related experience. + Working knowledge of conveyor systems with the capability to troubleshoot and repair all components. + Forklift certification with a working knowledge of battery changing and watering requirements. + Mechanically inclined with the ability to perform basic repairs throughout the facility. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Comfortable with heights due to enclosed catwalks on sortation equipment. + Ability to crawl, climb, and stand for extended periods. + Physical capability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs. + Proficiency in troubleshooting, maintenance repair, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical maintenance. + Experience with pneumatics, motors, hydraulics, hand and power tools, and industrial equipment. **Work Environment** The work environment is a very clean distribution facility with extensive walking required. Maintenance personnel have access to motorized vehicles for tools and gear due to the facility's large size. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights between 5 ft and 30 ft, utilizing harnesses, railings, platforms, and enclosed areas. Scissor lifts and boom lifts are used for tasks like changing lighting and belts on overhead conveyors. The production side is temperature-controlled, while the warehouse/stock area is not, requiring adaptability to various conditions. Shifts include A Shift + OT for peak times from Sunday to Wednesday, and D Shift + OT for peak times from Wednesday to Saturday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olive Branch, Mississippi. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
