Job Description

**This is for either an 8-hour OR 12-hour position

Purpose

To assist the Machine Operator in packing quality product, setting up, adjusting and operating a Converting machine that converts polyethylene plastic film to bags and/or roll stock for customer packaging needs.

Knowledge Requirements

Basic computer skillsAbility to work with and interact effectively and professionally with coworkers in a team environmentBasic math skillsMust be able to identify the source of problems on complex machinery, and, if noted, take the appropriate corrective actionMust be able to read, understand and stay current with all department work instructions and proceduresGood organizational skills

Education/Experience Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience in converting and/or a manufacturing environment a plus.
