ResponsibilitiesOperate conventional lathe machines for the repair and overhaul of aircraft components.Perform set up of machines and ensure accurate operation.Work from drawings, sketches, and conduct reverse engineering to achieve desired outcomes.Collaborate with shop personnel and engineering teams.Utilize equipment such as mills, lathes, and grinders efficiently.Essential SkillsMinimum 3 years experience with machining.Proficiency in operating and setting up conventional lathe machines.Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.Strong focus on conventional machines, excluding CNC experience.Work EnvironmentOur work environment is a dynamic FAA Repair Station, specializing in the repair and overhaul of various components, with a particular focus on landing gear. The facility operates on a first shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
