Role Summary:

We are looking for a Conventional Machine Operator with extensive experience in machining and operating machine tools. The person will be responsible for manufacturing and modifying precision mechanical parts using conventional equipment, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities:

Operate conventional machine tools (lathe, milling machine, planer, slotting machine).

Prepare, assemble, and adjust parts and machines according to specifications.

Use precision measuring equipment (micrometer, caliper, dial indicator, etc.).

Interpret drawings in mm and inches, including geometric tolerances.

Support basic maintenance and repairs.

Comply with operating procedures, quality standards, and HSE safety regulations.

Work as part of a team and maintain effective communication with other areas.

Requirements:

Mechanical Technician (mandatory).

3+ years of experience operating conventional machine tools.

Knowledge of lathe, milling machine, planer, and slotting equipment.

CNC knowledge is a plus.

Ability to interpret inch-based drawings.

Effective communication, organization, and strong safety focus.

Availability to work overtime when required.

Preferred experience/skills:

Experience with a smoothing/planing machine (desirable).

Own vehicle desirable.
