As a Controls Technician, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve faults on fully commissioned automation equipment, focusing on maintaining uptime rather than programming from scratch. You will perform safety checks and recovery procedures for Motoman robots and support Siemens PLC-based systems. This role requires you to work onsite full-time at the customer's facility, integrating with both the automation company and the end-customer teams. A strong safety focus is essential while operating within a fast-paced production environment, including adherence to customer-specific onboarding and CGP requirements when applicable. You will provide clear, professional communication to production leaders and engineering management regarding issues, fixes, and equipment behavior.

There are two shift options available: afternoons (3 PM - 11 PM) and midnights (11 PM - 7 AM). You will interface with the customer's internal team, troubleshoot issues, and report back for any escalations. The role provides a great opportunity to work with custom automation equipment for defense applications and state-of-the-art equipment. Beyond the first six months, there is a strong likelihood for more capital expansion and additional work to support from a commissioning/set-up perspective.
