Job Title: Controls Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician with extensive experience working with 480V systems. The ideal candidate should be adept at PLC troubleshooting, particularly with Allen-Bradley and Siemens systems. While PLC editing/programming experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Experience with servo-driven equipment and conveyor maintenance is also highly valued.

Responsibilities

Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repair tasks.Perform maintenance and repair of servo-driven and conveyor equipment.Work with frequency drives and steam systems including boilers.Engage in preventive maintenance to ensure smooth operation of equipment.Interpret and work with schematics and blueprints for equipment maintenance.Collaborate with team members, pairing a mechanically strong technician with an electrically strong technician for efficient problem-solving.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

PLC editing/programming experience is a plus.Familiarity with industrial and PLC control systems.Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Work Environment

The role is based in a non-climate controlled facility, where the temperature varies with the seasons. You will work in a team of multiple technicians, typically in pairs combining mechanical and electrical expertise. The environment can be dirty at times, and candidates should be prepared for hands-on, physically demanding work. The position follows a 1st shift schedule, Monday through Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $79040.00 - $85675.20/yr.
