🔧About the Role

Are you experienced with building automation system sand ready to jump into a new opportunity ASAP? A leading construction company in Omaha is seeking Controls Technicians to join their growing team. You'll play a key role in installing and supporting HVAC automation systems across various job sites in Nebraska.

🛠️Key ResponsibilitiesInstall conduit and wiring for Building Automation System (BAS) devices and controllersMount and connect control panels, sensors, actuators, and field devicesRead and interpret mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) plansCollaborate with project managers and engineers to meet design specsTest and troubleshoot systems to ensure proper operationMaintain accurate documentation of installations and materials used⚙️Skills & Qualifications2+ years of experience as a Controls TechnicianProficiency in low-voltage electrical systems and control wiringFamiliarity with HVAC systems and BAS (Siemens PLC experience is a plus!)Strong blueprint/schematic reading skillsExcellent problem-solving and communication abilitiesMust have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel💼Experience Level

Intermediate to Expert– Ideal for technicians with hands-on experience in controls or automation.

🚗Travel

Job sites include Grand Island, Beatrice, Yutan, Norfolk, and more. Travel is required.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
