Job Description The Turnaround Controls Specialist plays a critical, highly technical role supporting a major turnaround based out of Augusta, Georgia. This position integrates cost control, schedule control, scope governance, daily reporting, risk visibility, and advanced analytics into a unified controls framework. The specialist consolidates scope, supports schedule build and progression tracking, maintains cost baselines, performs earned value management, and ensures data accuracy across Oracle, P6, Planisware, and Power BI environments. This role is responsible for interpreting cost and schedule trends, identifying variances, validating field data, and producing high‑quality dashboards and daily reports that drive decision‑making. The Controls Specialist collaborates closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Capital Projects, Supply Chain, contractors, and the Central TAR Team to ensure alignment with Nutrien’s turnaround controls standards and to support execution readiness throughout the planning cycle. This role directly influences execution performance, cost exposure, schedule readiness, and decision‑making throughout the turnaround lifecycle. This is a 2 year contract with the expectation to be on site 4 days per week in Augusta. Skills and Requirements • 5+ years of experience in Turnaround (TAR) Controls, project controls, or construction controls, including cost control, schedule control, reporting, and scope management.  • Hands on Power BI experience, able to build reports, manipulate data, connect to HANA/Oracle sources, and create meaningful visualizations.  • Hands‑on experience with Primavera P6, including schedule build, logic review, and progression tracking.  • Proficiency with Oracle systems, including Oracle EAM and cost/procurement modules.  • Ability to interpret and validate cost and schedule reports, LIM sheets, resource plans, and productivity trends.  • Experience identifying trends, variances, and anomalies in cost and schedule data.  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, business, accounting, or equivalent experience (PMP, AACE, or similar certifications are assets).
