Snapshot / Role Overview
We’re looking for a BAS Project Manager in Riverside, CA to lead estimating, scheduling, and change orders for building automation controls projects.

Impact

Deliver control system projects on time and on budget

Improve estimating accuracy and project planning

Manage scope changes and field coordination

Ensure smooth handoff between programming and installation

Responsibilities

Lead BAS project lifecycle from kickoff to closeout

Estimate labor, materials, and equipment for controls projects

Handle submittals, RFIs, and change orders

Coordinate with field teams, integrators, and subcontractors

Track schedules and update stakeholders regularly

Review plans and specs for controls scope

Oversee installation and assist with startup as needed

Support commissioning and owner training

Requirements
Must-Haves

3+ years in BAS or controls project management

Experience with platforms like Distech, Tridium/Niagara, Siemens, Johnson Controls, or similar

Skilled in estimating, scheduling, and change order management

Strong coordination skills with field teams and techs

Local to Riverside area with solid work history

Nice-to-Haves

Field experience in controls installation, startup, or programming

Familiar with Metasys, ALC, Alerton, EcoStruxure, etc.

Comfortable reviewing sequence of operations and controls drawings

Experience with Bluebeam, MS Project, or Procore
