**Job Title: Controls Installer**
**Job Description**
The role of Controls Installer involves working on-site under the direct supervision of the site superintendent, collaborating closely with a team of professionals. The primary objective is to facilitate the installation of low-voltage building automation and HVAC control systems within commercial structures. This position requires a high level of expertise, professionalism, and dedication to ensure the efficient and reliable installation of complex building automation systems in military installations. Your contributions are critical to the success of our projects, and the highest standards of performance and safety are always expected.
**Responsibilities**
+ Travel to multiple states to perform work at various military installations.
+ Install conduit up to 1" EMT & Rigid.
+ Install low-voltage cabling and sensors.
+ Install low-voltage control panels.
+ Wire and terminate low-voltage control panels and associated devices.
**Essential Skills**
+ A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in conduit and wire installation within a commercial setting.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints.
+ Willingness to travel full-time to various locations.
+ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
+ Ability to pass a clean bg check.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in the installation of commercial building automation and HVAC control systems.
+ OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification.
+ Journeymen electrician or similar field with three years of industry experience or ten-plus years’ experience in servicing mechanical equipment control systems in the HVAC industry.
+ Systems integration and development work on Niagara/Tridium based systems.
+ Knowledge of commercial controls systems, facilities management systems, energy management practices, site preparation, and peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques.
+ Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other contacts professionally.
+ Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
+ Leadership skills to support Technicians working on complex, critical Building Automation equipment.
+ PC experience and ability to program facility automation controls related software.
+ AutoCAD or similar experience is a plus.

Most of the work takes place on military bases, with a requirement to be open to travel.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, Alabama.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
