Our client is seeking a Controls Hardware Designer with automotive experience to join their team. As a Controls Hardware Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing industrial control panels from scratch using EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: Controls Hardware Designer** **Location: Wixom, MI** **Pay Rate: Pay is between $35-44/hour w2 (Will be dependent on experience level)** **Key Responsibilities** + Create and interpret single-line diagrams, schematics, terminal diagrams, and panel layouts. + Ensure all components used are UL approved; identify and validate equivalent components when necessary. + Validate designs against UL 508A and other relevant standards **Requirements** + Proven experience in industrial control panel design (not just drafting or redlining). + Proficiency in EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical. + Familiarity with Tesla, Audi, VW, or other European automotive electrical standards If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
