Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and industrial sector, is seeking a Controls Engineer/Maintenance Support to join their team. As a Controls Engineer/Maintenance Support, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence and system reliability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach to maintenance and troubleshooting, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Controls Engineer/Maintenance Support

**Pay Range: Open**
**What's the Job?**
+ Support Material Handling System Downtime remediation to ensure equipment availability and operational efficiency.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical automation and control systems in operational processes to increase productivity and volume.
+ Review control system schematics, specifications, and utilize software and testing equipment to resolve complex system malfunctions.
+ Coordinate with subject matter experts and vendors for complex, multidisciplinary problem-solving involving PLCs, HMI software, and conveyor control systems.
+ Manage cross-functional support teams and vendors to meet project and contract requirements while maintaining system integrity.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering or a related technical field.
+ 8-10 years of experience in technical troubleshooting of conveyor system controls or equivalent experience.
+ In-depth knowledge of PLC, HMI software, and conveyor control systems.
+ Strong project management skills and ability to communicate effectively across various teams and stakeholders.
+ Experience managing vendors and coordinating cross-functional support teams.
