Job Title: Controls EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a talented Controls Engineer to design electrical controls and associated software using PLCs, HMIs, motion controllers, and other hardware/software aspects. The role involves hands-on design, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical controls and programming for both custom and standard products. You will also be responsible for producing conceptual custom systems design and quotes as required, as well as the design and debugging of software for control systems.

ResponsibilitiesDesign electrical controls and software using PLCs, HMIs, and motion controllers.Perform hands-on design, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical controls.Develop programming for custom and standard products.Produce conceptual custom systems designs and quotes.Design and debug software for control systems.Essential SkillsProficiency in PLC programming.Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.Experience with Allen Bradley systems.Hands-on experience with servos.Proficiency in AutoCAD design and drafting software.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociates degree preferred.2+ years of relevant work experience.Experience with servo systems preferred.Experience with Basic programming.Experience with various PLCs and HMIs, including printed circuit board design.Ability to assess customer needs to develop project specifications and scope.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
