Description

This position performs a variety of mechanical/electrical engineering-related functions in support of the design and application of all pumping controls related accessories. This will include a range of engineering duties from calculations, CAD drafting, testing, and other similar technical functions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in a mechanical, electrical or similar engineering discipline. Associates degree in electrical engineering with 3 years’ experience (also accepted). Electrical Controls Designer with 10-years’ experience (also accepted).

· Three to five years’ experience in a technical manufacturing or similar environment. Previous knowledge of centrifugal pumps is a plus.

· Proficient in the design and application of mechanical and electrical components and equipment.

· Ability to use computers and software programs including:

o Autocad 2D

o MS Outlook

o MS Word

o MS Excel

· Can be productive with minimal supervision.

· Has the ability to learn quickly and advance upon what has been learned.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Requires good communication and teamwork skills.

· 10-15% travel
