Controls Engineer
Job Title: Controls EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team on a short-term contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing and configuring PLC hardware, and will be responsible for integrating various machines in a manufacturing environment.

ResponsibilitiesIdentify, install, and configure PLC logic for each sensor.Connect a mix of machines such as Stamping Press, Robot Welder, and Laser.Connect PLC to an OPC server, which may be onsite or cloud-based.Provide training to maintenance and IT staff to enable replication and maintenance going forward.Essential SkillsPLC programming, installation, and software.Experience with PLC hardware installation and configuration.Experience in connecting PLCs to OPC servers.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Kepware software is a plus.Experience with controls on stamping presses, robot welders, and lasers.Work Environment

This position operates within a manufacturing environment, requiring interaction with various types of machinery. The role offers flexibility in pay rate and operates within a short-term contract framework.

This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
