We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to develop, program, and support automated manufacturing equipment. This role focuses on designing control systems, integrating robotics and PLCs, improving equipment performance, and supporting major production launches.
Tier 1 automotive supplier - high volume manufacturing environment Innovative equipment ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement advanced control systems for new equipment and production processes.Create and update electrical designs including system architecture, schematics, and wiring diagrams.Program and troubleshoot ABB robots, Allen-Bradley PLCs, and Keyence vision systems.Support system integration, commissioning, debugging, and validation of automated equipment.Document technical specifications, procedures, and system changes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process efficiency and resolve equipment issues.Work with suppliers to source control system components and ensure on-time project execution.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related technical field.5+ years of experience in controls engineering, automation, or system integration.Strong experience with PLC programming, robotics, vision systems, and electrical design.Ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues in a manufacturing environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $58.00/hr.
