Controls Engineer
Job Title: Controls and Automation Engineer Job Description Join a leading organization in the food and beverage industry, known for its commitment to quality, ethics, and innovation. As a Controls and Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in installing new manufacturing systems and upgrading existing systems across various facilities. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to significant expansion projects while working in a supportive and growth-oriented environment. Responsibilities + Install new manufacturing systems and upgrade existing systems across multiple facilities. + Provide on-site support for controls and automation activities at manufacturing facilities. + Develop, install, and commission plant controls and automation systems, including PLC programming, HMI development, and MES data collection. + Provide technical support for controls and automation systems using the help desk system. + Design and specify plant control system architecture, including control panels, hardware, and communication networks. + Establish and enforce process control standards. + Collaborate with and direct third-party controls engineering partners. Essential Skills + 5-10 years experience programming PLCs from scratch. + Proficiency in HMI development, preferably within Wonderware (Aveva) Archestra Systems. + Strong background in electrical design. + Experience in running projects from conception to development. + Willingness to travel up to 75% within the first year. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Allen Bradley PLC programming. + background in the food and beverage, consumer goods, or similar industry. + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Rockwell systems. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
