Controls Engineer

As a Controls Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and building cutting-edge automation and robotic systems for a world-class Powertrain facility. This is an opportunity to work on innovative projects that push the boundaries of technology and efficiency in a high-performance environment. What You’ll Do + Design and develop automation and robotic equipment for large-scale production. + Specialize in either PLC programming or robotics integration: + PLC Focus: Program using Siemens TIA Portal for seamless system control. + Robotics Focus: Work with FANUC systems, with iRVision experience as a plus. + Showcase a recent project during the interview to demonstrate your expertise. + Integrate multiple tasks into a unified platform for optimized performance. + Work with advanced hardware: sensors, remote I/O, servos, VFDs, machine vision, and barcode readers. + Implement industrial networking protocols like Profinet and Ethernet I/P. What We’re Looking For + 5 years of recent hands-on experience in PLC or robotics. + Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal or FANUC robotics. + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience. Bonus Skills + iRVision experience. + Familiarity with 6-axis robots. + Knowledge of HMI/SCADA design, drive configuration, and motion control. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks, NV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $73.00/hr.
