Our client is seeking a Controls Engineer with a background in Lead or support commissioning and start-up activities on-site at manufacturing facilities.. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and debugging PLC and HMI systems, primarily using Rockwell Automation (RSLogix 5000/Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View). The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: Controls Engineer** **Location: Brookville, OH** **Pay Rate: Pay is between $35 to $45/hour w2 (Will be dependent on experience level)** **Key Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLC logic, I/O communications, and network diagnostics. + Develop and update electrical and control schematics using AutoCAD Electrical or similar tools. + Interface with customers, project managers, electricians, and mechanical teams during project execution. **Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience). + 5+ years of experience in industrial controls engineering, preferably in the automotive industry. + Strong knowledge of Rockwell Automation platforms: ControlLogix, CompactLogix, RSLogix/Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View SE/ME.
