**Looking for a Controls Technician in Mocksville, NC!** **Shift:** Openings on both... + Days (Sun-Wed) OR (Wed-Sat) – 6am-6pm, Wednesday shift for days is 12pm-6pm + Nights (Sun-Wed) OR (Wed-Sat) – 6pm-6:30am, Wednesday shift is 6pm-12am + Will train on 1st shift (M-F) for 1 week before moving to their designated shift **Pay:** + Days: $35.21-$42.74 + Nights: $39.21- $46.74 + 1.5x for weekend days worked, (Saturday and Sunday, they get this whether they have worked 40 hours or not, it is a weekend day premium) + Sign on bonus: $3,000-$5,000 **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Controls Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing all electrical and maintenance duties as assigned, ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and systems. **Responsibilities** + Work on equipment such as freezers, fryers, breading machines, air compressors, boilers, and large hot water heaters. + Troubleshoot and install 480v motors. + Engage in minor programming, primarily reading programs and troubleshooting issues. Minor program changes are involved, without writing anything from scratch. + Possess experience with hooking up a laptop for plug-and-play capabilities. + Assist on mechanical repairs alongside electrical duties. + Fabricate start/stop stations and related jobs. + Deal with 480-volt, 3-phase systems and maintain lighting systems. + Understand and apply elements of NEC. + Read schematics and diagrams satisfactorily. + Troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical problems. + Work as directed on production equipment with good judgment and initiative. + Perform all other duties as assigned. **Why Work Here?** Join our team and benefit from a supportive work environment where uniforms are provided, and you can earn competitive pay with opportunities for overtime.
