The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:

Supervise Automation Technicians and Programmers, assign work, provide mentorship, and ensure proper training and skill development Oversee control system design, PLC/HMI programming, panel builds, machine wiring, and system commissioning while ensuring compliance with safety and electrical codes Independently manage multiple automation projects, troubleshoot complex electrical and hydraulic issues, and ensure seamless system integration Collaborate with customers on project scope, provide technical support and training, and travel for site visits, retrofits, and commissioning Enforce safety standards, approve designs, oversee part procurement, conduct quality audits, and handle administrative tasks like scheduling and performance reviews

The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered:

8 or more years of hands-on experience in automation programming 1 or more years of leadership experience in an automation or controls-related role A.S. degree in electromechanical or automation engineering technology (or related field) is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred Possess a solid work history Being a US citizen or green card holder Having a residence within a 45-minute drive
