Controller
Robert Half Finance & Accounting
Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will oversee financial operations across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and delivering accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, auditing, and financial management, along with the ability to implement process improvements and maintain robust internal controls.
Responsibilities:
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Ensure compliance with US accounting standards and lead the adoption of new accounting practices and procedures.
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure operational efficiency.
• Direct treasury operations, including cash flow management, banking relationships, and liquidity planning.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure audits are completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Oversee tax compliance activities, including filings and coordination with external advisors.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Supervise accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
• Prepare financial statements and budgets in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Requirements
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, financial management, or auditing roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems such as 3M, ADP Financial Services, and CRM platforms.
• Strong knowledge of accounting functions, including month-end close activities, financial statement preparation, and budget processes.
• Experience with auditing practices and compliance standards.
• Advanced skills in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Ability to design and maintain effective internal control frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive process improvements and ensure operational accuracy.
