Job Description

Partners with other management in defining the global Finance and Accounting strategic plan while ensuring the maximization of the company's financial performanceOversees the execution of the strategic plan and manages the financial reporting, budgets, and internal processesLeads the accounting department and advises management in interpreting and utilizing managerial accounting informationManages all accounting operations while monitoring costs and capital expendituresDirects the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variancesDevelops business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsEnsures timely and complete financial statements and oversees the preparation of the corporate annual reportAccurately reports the financial results to Applied Composites' operations by Generally Accepted Principles (GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)Prepares reports which summarize and forecast business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and future operationsProvides financial analyses, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiationsGathers and analyzes data to inform commercial pricing decisions; validates accuracy and integrity to ensure competitive proposals and pricing decisionsLeads and directs work for a team of employees as defined by business needsManages staff selection, performance, development, and training process to ensure team competencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and expectationsOther responsibilities as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance5-10 years of experience in an Accounting roleCPA preferredAerospace/ Defense preferred
