Description Overview A growing organization is seeking a Controller to lead all financial management, reporting, and accounting operations. This role is both hands‑on and strategic—responsible for accurate financial data, strong internal controls, and providing clear financial insights to leadership. Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting + Oversee AR, AP, GL, inventory accounting, and payroll functions. + Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. + Maintain compliance with GAAP and ensure accuracy of financial records. + Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. + Provide financial analysis and insights to support leadership decision‑making. Internal Controls & Process Improvement + Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies. + Improve workflows and enhance efficiency across the accounting team. + Manage financial audits and collaborate with external auditors. Leadership & Collaboration + Supervise and mentor accounting team members; promote accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. + Partner with internal teams and leadership to improve financial visibility. + Communicate complex financial information in an actionable, accessible way. Systems & Inventory Management + Oversee inventory costing, valuation, reconciliation, and cycle count processes. + Support multi‑state operations with tax compliance and regulatory requirements. BENEFITS OFFERED: + SALARY RANGE: $85,000-$120,000 + Healthcare Benefits: 100% paid medical, dental, vision for the employee and family + Other Insurance: Life insurance + Retirement Plan: 401k with a company match + Paid Time Off: 2 weeks Requirements Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. + 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; 2+ years in a leadership role preferred. + Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. + Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
