Description The Cost Accounting Manager oversees the standard costing system for four companies, ensuring accurate inventory valuation and timely reporting of cost variances. Comp up to $125k + bonus Key duties include: + Creating and maintaining standard costs and inventory valuation processes + Analyzing and communicating monthly variance, job close variances, and overhead absorption + Preparing inventory reconciliations and reserve calculations + Supporting annual budget, monthly forecasts, and ERP system conversions + Leveraging ERP and financial platforms to improve reporting and efficiency + Ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and company policies Leadership responsibilities include supporting the accounting team, collaborating across departments, supervising direct reports, and fostering a culture of teamwork.
