Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to manage and oversee financial operations for our organization in Massillon, Ohio. This role is key to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our accounting practices while contributing to strategic planning and organizational growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing finance and a proven ability to lead teams effectively. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee all finance and accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. • Supervise and provide guidance to the Bookkeeper, Purchasing Manager, and HR Administrator. • Collaborate closely with the owner and participate in board meetings to support strategic decision-making. • Implement and maintain effective cost accounting practices to monitor and control expenses. • Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity. • Handle human resources operations, including personnel management and policy development. • Oversee purchasing activities to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. • Utilize QuickBooks to manage accounting processes and generate financial reports efficiently. • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. • Support the organization in maintaining compliance with manufacturing-related accounting standards. Requirements • Proven experience in manufacturing finance and accounting. • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices. • Experience managing purchasing operations and ensuring cost efficiency. • Familiarity with human resources administration and personnel management. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. • Ability to lead and supervise teams effectively. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
