Responsible for leading all financial and accounting operations for the organization and ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting, including revenue recognition, budgeting, and forecasting.
ResponsibilitiesManage all day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Maintain compliance with corporate financial policies, state and federal regulations, and industry-specific reporting requirements.Coordinate year-end audits and manage relationships with external auditors and accounting firms.Lead the annual budgeting process in alignment with organizational goals.Prepare rolling forecasts, pipeline projections, and variance analyses.Provide executive leadership with financial insights, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).Develop and enforce internal controls to protect company assets.Implement and document accounting policies, procedures, and best practices.Ensure compliance with FAR (if government contracts apply), ASC 606 revenue recognition, and other relevant guidelines.Essential SkillsExperience with month-end, year-end closings, and audits.Proficiency in cash flow projections and sales and use tax.Ability to conduct detailed financial analysis and consolidations.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong understanding of GAAP and compliance requirements.Ability to provide financial insights and prepare dashboards and KPIs.Work EnvironmentIn-office work required five days a week.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48.07 - $60.00/hr.
