The Controller leads all Finance & Accounting operations and supports the company’s overall financial health. This role manages the full accounting cycle, strengthens controls, improves processes, and provides clear reporting to leadership.
Responsibilities
Lead the finance and control functions including invoicing, AR/AP, cash management, payroll, travel, commercial billing, and mergers and acquisitions.Champion cultural changes with improved controls, external orientation, focused strategies, and streamlined processes.Facilitate development and promotional moves; create reports to identify slow billing branches and develop best-in-class monthly highlights for management.Produce annual savings by renegotiating and eliminating contracts, creating corporate policies for high-dollar purchases, and limiting corporate credit card distribution.Automate month-end close procedures to shorten financial reporting time and create new packages for communicating financials to management.Manage a team of eight finance and accounting professionals and oversee all aspects of IT.Work Environment
The company has a smaller blue-collar feel. The team environment consists of 8 people, including transactional accounting, admin, and sales associates. Some management roles are in place, with plans to promote an office manager to alleviate some responsibilities from the controller. The position offers a hybrid work model with 50% onsite and work-from-home arrangements. Typical business hours apply.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $39.00 - $46.00/hr.
