Job Title: Controller

The Controller, plays a key leadership role in overseeing financial reporting and accounting operations for a large multi‑brand restaurant division. This position supports senior decision‑makers by delivering accurate financial insights, managing period‑end close processes, leading a team of senior accountants, and driving continuous improvement across systems and workflows. It’s a highly collaborative role that requires strong technical accounting expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple entities in a fast‑paced environment.

Key HighlightsFinancial leadership & reporting: Oversee month‑end and year‑end close, prepare P&Ls and financial reports, manage audits, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely tax filings.Team & stakeholder management: Lead and develop a team of three, collaborate with cross‑functional partners, and maintain strong relationships to support operational and strategic decision‑making.Process improvement & systems expertise: Identify automation opportunities within the ERP (MS Dynamics 365), manage complex reconciliations, and enhance accounting processes across a multi‑entity structure.Must Haves3+ years as a Accounting Manager/Controller/Assistant Controller at a medium to large size company of over 20 Million + in Revenue.CPA designation2+ years of leadership, managing a team of over 3.Strong foundation in intercompany transactions (intercompany charges, intercompany allocations, shared services model) and complex reconciliationsExperience managing multiple entities in a complex structure (3+ entities)Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Vancouver, BC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
