Location: Avenel NJ Industry: Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing Work environment: 5 Days onsite Opportunity for Growth: Room to move into the VP of Finance in the near future Responsibilities: + Controller will manage and maintain inventory records to ensure accurate reporting and valuation + Establish, update, and monitor cost standards to reflect current production and material costs + Maintain rolling standards to support continuous cost accuracy and forecasting + Conduct and reconcile cycle counts to ensure proper inventory control + Analyze and report on manufacturing cost variances, identifying cost drivers and supporting reduction initiatives + Develop, maintain, and monitor overhead rates to ensure accurate allocation of indirect costs to products and departments + As a Controller, you will partner with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities Assist with month-end close, reporting, and audit support related to inventory and cost accounting Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Edison, NJ.
