Position Summary:

The Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities within the manufacturing organization. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, maintains internal controls, supports strategic planning, and drives cost efficiency across operations. The Controller plays a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making and improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & CompliancePrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors.Cost Accounting & Inventory ManagementOversee cost accounting processes, including standard costing, variance analysis, and margin reporting.Monitor inventory valuation and ensure accurate reporting of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.Budgeting & ForecastingLead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting.Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives.Internal Controls & Process ImprovementDevelop and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Team LeadershipManage and mentor accounting staff.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.ERP & Systems ManagementOversee financial systems and ensure data integrity.Collaborate with IT and operations to optimize ERP usage for financial reporting and analysis.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial controls.Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, JobBoss) and advanced Excel skills.Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
