Accounting & Finance Leader – Manufacturing Focus

Overview:

Seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead financial operations, reporting, and strategic support in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role requires hands-on leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong command of US GAAP and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.Audit & Tax Coordination:Liaise with external auditors and tax preparers to ensure timely and accurate filings.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with internal teams to analyze financial data and support decision-making.Team Leadership:Mentor and lead the accounting team, promoting accountability and continuous improvement.Accounting Operations:Oversee billing, A/R, A/P, GL, inventory, cost accounting, bank reconciliations, and revenue recognition.Policy & Compliance:Develop and enforce internal controls and accounting policies.Expense Oversight:Review and approve expense reports and corporate card statements.Budgeting & Forecasting:Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes; analyze variances.Strategic Business Support:Contribute to initiatives like personnel planning and technology adoption.ERP Implementation:Evaluate and implement ERP systems to improve labor tracking and inventory management.Daily Financial Operations:Ensure accurate daily financial record maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance leadership experience.Strong proficiency in:General Ledger, Reconciliation, Month-End CloseFinancial Reporting & Statement PreparationCost Accounting, Budgeting, ForecastingUS GAAP complianceAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and payroll systems.Experience with JobBOSS preferred.Manufacturing industry experience required.Proven ownership of month-end close and financial statement analysis.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
