Job Description

This position encompasses comprehensive responsibilities across accounting, financial reporting, treasury functions, Human Resources administration, IT interface & administration, and purchasing. The role requires significant individual contribution while also supervising office support staff.

ResponsibilitiesFull controllership responsibilities for accurate accounting of all financial functions.Ensure accuracy in cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, work in progress, job material purchases, and other inventories.Maintain the cost accounting system.Partially process bi-weekly payroll and job costing.Accurately account and sign for applicable bank covenants.Ensure timeliness and accuracy in servicing all company debt.Evaluate and assist with transacting all capital expenditures.Approve and maintain customer credit limits.Ensure collections are current, making calls to customers as necessary.Provide secure location for all company confidential files.Ensure accurate and timely filing of all taxes, including sales and payroll taxes.Manage evaluation and purchase of company business insurance.Ensure strong process control and management of all procurement functions.Provide secure location for all confidential personnel files.Process all new employees and changes for existing personnel.Annually review, modify, and administer company benefit programs.Administer the company 401K plan.Maintain changes to the company employee handbook.Manage all worker’s compensation claims.Maintain all IT systems directly and through third-party providers, including all communication systems.Provide ongoing reviews and suggest upgrades for technical changes the company should consider.Essential SkillsProficiency in accounting, general ledger, reconciliation, month-end processes, financial reporting, and financial statement preparation.Experience in employee relations, human resources, onboarding, and recruiting.Competence in cost accounting and human resource management.Strong communication skills.Demonstrated competence in Excel, Word, and Outlook.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent; CPA preferred.Experience in full charge operating environments.Experience with job costing is a plus.Familiarity with key interfaces is a plus.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
