Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Controller to oversee financial reporting and compliance, internal controls and risk management, audit and taxation, accounts receivable and payable management, process improvement, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, and cost management and optimization. This leadership role is crucial to transforming our company's culture and driving financial excellence.

ResponsibilitiesOversee timely preparation and presentation of accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in conformity with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.Develop and manage internal controls to safeguard company assets, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, and minimize financial risk.Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and taxation laws, and manage tax filing and tax planning to optimize financial performance.Oversee the management of accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collection of outstanding payments, and effective management of aging reports.Establish and enforce credit policies to minimize exposure to bad debt.Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve payment disputes and improve customer payment cycles.Supervise the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices to suppliers and vendors, and compliance with company policies and payment terms.Optimize payment cycles to maintain favorable supplier relationships and take advantage of early payment discounts.Review and approve payment schedules and assist in managing working capital efficiently.Identify, direct, and implement process improvement projects in the finance function and across the organization.Automate processes in finance to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency, reduce manual interventions, and leverage automation.Support the budget process, including developing financial projections, and assist department heads in planning and cost control measures.Provide financial analysis to senior management, offering insights and suggestions on cost control, pricing, and working capital management.Review operational costs, study profitability, and work with other departments to identify cost-saving initiatives without sacrificing product quality.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.At least 7-10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior financial management role.Good understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).Proficient in financial systems and software (ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, etc.).Leadership experience in process improvement projects and initiatives.Good financial analysis and reporting skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsA Master's degree or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent is desirable.Experience in manufacturing or FMCG sectors is preferred.Work Environment

The role is based at the corporate headquarters, requiring in-office presence five days a week. This position offers the opportunity to lead and influence the financial operations, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
