Our client in Kellogg, Idaho is seeking a Financial Controller to join their team. As a Controller, you will be part of the Accounting & Finance team in the Healthcare Industry. **Pay Range: $95,000 to $120,000 plus bonus** Responsible for the oversight of Fiscal and Accounts Payable Departments. Responsible for funds, paid and received, monthly closing procedures, general ledger entries and accuracy, and account reconciliations. Manage accounts payable and aspects of payroll processing. Ensure security and accuracy of hospital data. Perform managerial responsibilities for the fiscal department and serve as a resource to department managers. Prepare financial reports for accurate and transparent reporting. Primary Responsibilities: • Oversight of daily cash activities • Manage the fiscal department, accounts payable and aspects of payroll processing. • Serve as a resource for other department managers. • Perform all general ledger procedures including locating GL account information and printing GL account and reporting information monthly and annually. • Prepare monthly financial reports. • Process grant accounting functions and maintain grant recognition files. • Provide data and reports to CFO monthly and as requested. • Reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts and research variances monthly. • Prepare and present financial statistics upon request. • Assist in development of operation, personnel, and capital budgets for SMC. Schedule meetings, prepare preliminary and final budget reports, and assist department managers in preparation of specific department budgets. • Provide accurate monthly operation reports to department managers. • Maintain capital equipment and depreciation schedules. • Prepare tax reports, payments and other agency reporting as required or requested. • Assist HR with payroll and other functions as needed or requested. • Maintain knowledge of state and federal reporting laws and regulations. Compile reports and information for annual audit.
