Control Room Operator
**Job Title: Control Room Operator** Job Description As a Control Room Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of production processes. Your expertise in panel and profile identification, quality control standards, and equipment maintenance will be critical to maintaining high production standards. Shift Monday - Friday 6am - 6:30pm Responsibilities + Understand and demonstrate panel and profile identification. + Verify the scheduled production run against the Bill of Materials (BOM). + Maintain Quality Control (QC) standards at the Foaming station and ensure accurate QC Log entry. + Execute startup and shutdown procedures, changeover procedures, and manage manual/remote control versus automatic operations. + Care for and clean equipment, and perform equipment adjustments to correct product defects. + Perform parameter entry and screen navigation, containment and double belt setup, and mix head calibration and rebuilding. + Handle coil splicing procedures, proper chemical handling, and chemical room pump operations. + Effectively communicate with other stations and continually monitor the product throughout the production run. + Notify Quality Control and relevant personnel of any product issues immediately. + Monitor production equipment and notify Maintenance and relevant personnel of any equipment issues. + Ensure the area is organized and clean. + Complete and maintain forklift certification. + Participate in training by Lead Operator or Supervisor. + Comply with all safety and company policies and procedures. + Perform other related duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Proficiency in control room operations and machine operation. + Experience with computer operation and chemical mixing. + Ability to calibrate scales and troubleshoot problems. + Knowledge of safety rules and correct machine operation. + Mathematic proficiency, including arithmetic and fractions. + Proficiency in using a tape measure and metric measurement systems. + High attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks. + Experience in loading packaging onto machines. + High school diploma or equivalent. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.18 - $24.18/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
