**Job Title: Control Panel Technician** **Job Description** As a Control Panel Technician, you will be responsible for accurately and safely assembling electromechanical assemblies in accordance with drawings, written, or verbal instructions. You will inspect and test subassemblies while maintaining a commitment to quality and safety. **Responsibilities** + Read and understand bill of material structure and escalate errors or discrepancies to appropriate personnel. + Visually inspect components for flaws or damage and escalate issues to appropriate personnel. + Assist with miscellaneous tasks such as packaging finished goods, material handling, and warehouse cleanup. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including participation in the 5S program. + Communicate ideas and facts in a professional manner to all stakeholders. + Perform repetitive tasks and sit or stand for long periods of time. + Possess manual dexterity to assemble parts quickly and accurately. + Upload component firmware according to written instructions. + Adhere to the company's redline process to document any as-built changes. + Maintain accurate accounting of project materials and report discrepancies. + Rework and repair equipment and products as instructed. + Participate in developing work instructions, including writing assembly notes. + Safely use advanced tooling such as power tools and CableEye. + Identify the need for and assist in developing tools/jigs for assembly processes. + Operate and maintain test fixtures, devices, and test cables. + Perform field service as needed. + Navigate 3D CAD/e-drawings to aid assembly. + Perform full system cold checks using a schematic. + Obtain company-sponsored high-voltage electrical safety training. + Possess proficiency in the layout, routing, and termination of wires for UL 508A electrical panels. + Possess proficiency in building cables/wire harnesses conforming to IPC 620 standards. + Assemble 24V safety circuits including e-stops, light curtains, and sensors. + Identify continuous improvement opportunities for the production team. + Perform advanced troubleshooting for electromechanical assemblies. + Assume leadership roles on first article projects. + Lead the production team, upholding values, ethics, and commitments to quality and safety. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical assembly and cable harness assembly. + Wire harness troubleshooting and electrical skills. + Control panel building and wire harness expertise. + Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints. + Soldering and testing circuits. + Proficiency in IPC 620 standards. + Ability to use hand and power tools. + 2+ years of relevant experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in strip, crimp, and splice electrical components. + Build mechanical subassemblies using various fastening methods. + Route cables and secure wiring throughout systems. + Attach labels or name plates to assemblies and components. + Measure dimensions to verify proper clearance of parts. + Safely use standard assembly tooling. + Ability to verify mechanical functionality. + Test for electrical continuity using a voltmeter. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that offers a great work environment with cool amenities, fostering a culture of quality and safety. **Work Environment** Work in a large warehouse/production/manufacturing facility. Regular lifting of 40lbs is required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TUALATIN, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $35.00/hr.
