The Control Panel Builder is responsible for the fabrication, wiring, assembly, and testing of industrial electrical control panels in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics, and applicable codes and standards. This role requires strong hands-on electrical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a production team to deliver high‑quality, compliant control panels.
Key Responsibilities:Build and wire industrial electrical control panels according to electrical schematics, assembly drawings, and bills of material Fabricate and assemble control panels while adhering to quality and safety standards Install components such as PLCs, HMIs, relays, terminal blocks, power supplies, and variable frequency drivesPerform point‑to‑point wiring, panel layout, drilling, tapping, and mounting of electrical componentsConduct routine electrical troubleshooting, testing, and verification of completed panelsRead and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentationMaintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety proceduresAssist with inventory management and preparation of materials for upcoming projectsSupport training and mentoring of junior panel builders or new hires as needed Required Qualifications:Proven experience building and wiring industrial control panelsStrong understanding of electrical control panel wiring and componentsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprintsProficiency with hand tools and power tools used in panel fabrication Knowledge of industrial electrical standards and safety practicesJob Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Oakland, NJ.
