Finance Control Management maintains a strong and consistent control environment across the firm through risk identification and assessment, effective design and evaluation of controls, and sustainable solutions to mitigate operational risk.
As a Senior Associate within Finance Control Management, you will support governance of various processes, risk assessments, and executive reporting across Corporate and Firmwide Finance to help promote an effective control environment. You will assist in driving the key priorities of the team focused on continuous improvements and supporting our stakeholders.
Job responsibilities:
Develop materials for senior management, including Control Committees, which are formal governance bodies that support the oversight of the risk and control environment of the respective LOBs or CFs, inclusive of Operational Risk, Compliance and Conduct Risks.Prepare the annual presentation to the Audit Committee for the Firmwide Finance Control Environment, which covers issues management, regulatory watch areas and areas of elevated residual risk.Complete the quarterly Compliance and Operational Risk Summary (CORS) for Corporate Finance, which provides comprehensive information and reporting about the LOBs and Corporate Functions operational risk and control environment. Gather relevant data from all Corporate Functions within the Office of the CFO (OCFO) to provide a quarterly CORS executive summary. Manage compliance with applicable policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience5 years of experience in Finance, Risk/Controls, Audit, Operational Risk Management, or equivalent expertise in a relevant business related function/operationHigh level of attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing prioritiesStrong problem solving and written and oral communication skillsProfessional attitude, strong team playerProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
