Job Title: Contracts ManagerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to support the evaluation of new business opportunities and provide contractual guidance in coordination with various stakeholders. The role involves leading proposal responses and contract negotiations, offering guidance on contract processes, and administering federal and some state & local government contracts.

ResponsibilitiesSupport the evaluation of new business opportunities in coordination with sales, programs, and other stakeholders, and provide contractual guidance.Lead proposal responses and contract negotiations in collaboration with the Legal partner.Efficiently manage contract requirements and terms & conditions by communicating requests and actions to stakeholders.Prepare redlines and negotiate terms and conditions reflecting company positions.Provide guidance based on substantive knowledge of contracting processes and contract interpretation.Drive efficient contract negotiation and execution with customers and subcontractors.Oversee contract sign-off and maintain version control of all contract iterations.Serve as a point-of-contact for contract-related matters between the company, customers, subcontractors, and vendors.Administer federal government contracts and support stakeholders in these contracts.Maintain complete contract records and develop/maintain contract management processes and procedures.Monitor contract lifecycle including renewals, extensions, and close-outs.Identify and analyze risks in collaboration with Legal and stakeholders, escalating as necessary.Collaborate with business and corporate compliance teams on contract compliance monitoring and audits.
Essential Skills5 years of contract management experience.Experience with contract administration, negotiation, and management.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.
Additional Skills & QualificationsMust come from a manufacturing or government contracting background.Bachelor's degree is required, with the field of study open.
Work Environment

This is a hybrid role, requiring work in the office three days a week, with remote work available on Mondays and Fridays. Parking is available for employees.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edgewood, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $57.69/hr.
