We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the legal department to oversee legal terms and manage the preparation and revision of contracts. This role involves negotiating commercial terms, developing contract governance policies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
ResponsibilitiesWork in partnership with the legal department to oversee legal terms and manage contract preparation and revisions involving the purchase or sale of goods and services.Collaborate closely with the Category Portfolio Group Manager to negotiate commercial contract terms, including price and contract period.Develop practical and effective contract governance and administration policies, processes, and procedures.Create standardized contract template libraries for recurring purchases and negotiate contract terms and conditions.Prepare contract briefs and revisions summarizing contractual requirements to ensure execution in accordance with company policy.Track authorizations and correspondence, maintaining detailed and organized files, including audit files for each contract.Prepare contract change, cancellation, and other notices as required.Ensure contractors comply with legal requirements, owner specifications, and government regulations.Conduct ongoing training for procurement professionals and key stakeholders on contract administration processes, policies, and technologies.Administer surveys, prepare reports, and compile data metrics.Essential SkillsProficiency in contract administration and procurement processes.Strong understanding of legal terms and business services.Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.Strong data entry and administration capabilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.Minimum of 5 years related experience in contract administration in a complex environment.Paralegal or Contract Administration certification is highly desirable.Additional work experience can substitute for the degree requirement.Work EnvironmentThis position offers the flexibility to telecommute, allowing you to work remotely. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This role provides opportunities for upward mobility within the contracts team, offering room to grow into senior or managerial roles.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.62 - $33.88/hr.
