As a Contracts Administration Manager – Manager Level 1 in, located in Colorado Springs, CO, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position will be onsite. Our Contracts Administration Manager will lead a portfolio of major programs and the supporting contracts team to act as the primary interface with customers and business partners in conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiation and contract administration. You will oversee successful proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off. **Your Role & Impact:** + Direct management, oversight, and career development of a team of Contract Administrators. + Identifying, developing, and recommending risk mitigation strategies. + Developing solutions to complex management, contracts, pricing, and property concerns. + Advising management of contractual rights and obligations, including reviewing and approving contractual documents + Achieving targeted profit rates and favorable terms and conditions to assist in meeting profit and cash goals. + Providing direction based upon the contract requirements and change management discipline + Other duties as assigned Why you? You’re the candidate we’re searching for if you are ready to achieve the impossible alongside like-minded innovators. **Basic Qualifications** **_:_** + Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years’ experience working in Contracts Administration – OR – Master’s degree with 3 years’ experience. Will consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree. + Contracts Administration experience and working knowledge of the FAR, DFARS or government acquisition regulations + Background in DoD contracting, prior experience with the USG and/or major defense contractor customers + Experience negotiating and administering different contract types of varying sizes, and supplemental agreements + Experience with MS Office, including MS Excel + Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance **Preferred Qualifications:** + MBA or JD + Active U.S. Government DoD Secret or Top-Secret security clearance, current and within scope + Experience training and mentoring staff + 1+ year(s) of people leadership or supervisory experience **Soft Skills** + Ability to work collaboratively and effectively + Strong leadership experience + Strategic thinker + Strong interpersonal and communication skills Primary Level Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
