Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Life Insurance Contracting & Licensing Specialist to support a premier, nationally recognized insurance and wealth‑management client based in Austin, TX. In this role, you will play a key part in the onboarding and contracting process for agents across a multi‑carrier environment. You will collaborate closely with agents, carrier partners, and internal teams to ensure a smooth, efficient, and accurate contracting experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full contracting process by reviewing, processing, and submitting required documentation for agent appointments, assisting with SureLC setup, and organizing all materials through the document management system.
- Serve as the primary liaison with carriers and agents by tracking application status, resolving outstanding requirements, providing updates on missing or expired documents, and answering contracting or licensing inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records by documenting activity, updating agent codes, managing carrier forms and hierarchies, and ensuring data integrity across all systems.
This is a direct‑hire opportunity with a salary range of $65,000–$69,000, depending on experience.

Skills and Requirements
- Experience in the life insurance industry, preferably within a multi‑carrier environment
- Strong accuracy, dependability, and enthusiasm with a demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer support
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to take initiative, think creatively, and take full ownership of cases
- Self‑starter mindset with a strong desire to produce high‑quality results
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and WebEx - Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous experience supporting contracting and licensing processes
- Familiarity with SureLC or other carrier‑specific contracting platforms
- Background working with independent firms or broker‑dealers
- Experience coordinating with state insurance departments or navigating regulatory requirements
