Our client, a leading organization in the health insurance industry, is seeking a Contract Specialist to join their team. As a Contract Specialist, you will be part of the contract management department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Contract Specialist **Location:** Mountlake Terrace, WA (Remote) **Pay Range:** up to $30 per hour **Contract length:** 2 months (could extend) NO C2C **What's the Job?** + Develop and distribute assigned complex new and renewing custom member and employer contract documents using appropriate tools and systems. + Complete a detailed analysis of incoming requests to ensure correct documents are issued. + Ensure that all completed documents comply with federal and state statutes and regulations as well as company guidelines. + Research and respond to all general and group-specific contract issues and questions. + Create legal files and ensure appropriate documents are included. **What's Needed?** + High school diploma or GED. + Five (5) years of combined experience in a customer service/public contact or similar role with experience in health plan document writing and interpretation. + AHIP or CEBS course work or other appropriate certification is preferred. + Two (2) years of experience in the health care insurance field including medical terminology knowledge. + Demonstrated training/auditing skills.
