Job Description
This position focuses on administrative functions related to contract management, ensuring that all contracts are accurately processed and maintained to meet requirements.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain an organized system for contract documentation, including electronic and physical files.Ensure all contracts are in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and government regulations.Assist with the preparation of contract documents to ensure all necessary information is complete and accurate.Generate regular reports on contract status, compliance, and other relevant metrics.Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding contract-related inquiries.Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, including data entry, scheduling, and correspondence.Stay current with industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact contract management.Essential Skills1-2 years of experience in a general business or contract-related field within the defense industry (internship considered).Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for a team environment.US Citizenship at time of hire (cannot have dual citizenship).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with government contracts is a significant advantage.Experience in an industry under extensive government oversight and control is preferred, particularly those adhering to numerous rules and regulations for public health, safety, and environmental protection.Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour shift on the 1st shift. The dress code is business casual. The company is a major domestic supplier to the Commercial Nuclear Industry, Departments of Energy and Defense, as well as NASA, Naval shipyards, and other industrial and government customers.
