Position Details Position Title: Contract Services Associate - Dining Services - .60 FTE Position Type: Staff Location: Moorhead Employment Type: Hourly Non-Exempt General Employment Period: January – December General Work Schedule (days of week): Monday – Friday and rare other days as needed General shift hours: 7:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Job Summary: Job Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is to work as part of the Contract Services team in the daily production requirements for all functions of the department. Job Duties/What You'll Do + Count and divide food items (salads, entrees, baked goods, etc) for production and Contract Services clients. + Follow sanitation requirements as prescribed by county, state, and federal authorities. + Obtain products from storage areas; weigh or measure products according to recipes; portion hot and cold food components; package and label meals and products; move products to designated storage or transportation area; clean and maintain equipment and work areas. + Assist with training and work with student employees, coworkers, and managers in service to our customers. + Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: + High School Diploma/GED; + ServSafe certificate or similar food safety course certificate, or pass ServSafe exam within the first year of employment. + Previous food service or related experience. Preferred Qualifications: + Detail oriented; + Ability to work on multiple tasks; + Basic math skills with very high accuracy; + Basic employment skills: reading, oral and written communication; + Able to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast paced, team oriented environment; + Able to follow health and sanitation standards by maintaining food temperatures, cleaning and sanitizing supplies, and proper personal hygiene; + Ability to engage our customers with an attitude of willingness and dedication to serve; + Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
